Aquaphor WaterBoss 400 - designed for water softening, manufactured by order of Aquaphor by the American company "Hague Quality Water International" (Water Boss). This softener is used to remove hardness ions of magnesium and calcium, remove manganese and iron from the water of local and municipal water supply networks (wells, artesian wells, etc.)

The filter is certified according to the Water Quality Association S-100 standard, which is confirmed by the Gold Seal of the Water Quality Association. All electrical products and components used are CSA and UL listed, and all water-contacting components are FDA-listed. The materials from which the softener is made are non-toxic, absolutely safe and do not emit any substances into the water that pose a danger to human health and the environment. The filter fully meets the requirements of the technical regulations TR CU 010/2011.

Aquaphor WaterBoss 400 advantages:

Ion exchange resin: WaterBoss softeners use a monodisperse ion exchange resin with a bead diameter of about 0.2 mm. A narrow fractional composition in combination with a small granule size makes it possible to obtain a sorption (ion-exchange) medium with a very low hydrodynamic resistance and a very high kinetics of the ion-exchange reaction. The use of such an ion exchange resin in conventional bulk columns is not possible, since the standard “slits” at the column inlet and outlet have a slot size of 0.5 mm. Construction: The ion exchange resin in WaterBoss is tightly packed between two polymer meshes with a mesh size of 20 microns and an area close to the column diameter. Due to this, there are no parasitic stagnant resin volumes that are not involved in the filter. Efficiency of regeneration: The WaterBoss system implements counter-current regeneration "in the clamped layer", which is impossible with free filling of resin due to the floating effect. This achieves significant - up to 70% - saving of salt during regeneration.

 

Unique compactness, modern design and high performance characteristics make it possible to use AQUAPHOR WaterBoss 400 even where a special place was not provided in advance. Another indicator - the extremely small amount of water consumed for regeneration - is very important in the presence of a local sewerage system and a water meter. The AQUAPHOR WaterBoss softening and iron removal system is simple and easy to maintain, and also outperforms conventional water softeners in all major categories. Once installed, the system only requires periodic refilling with salt.
