Operating principle:
Reagentless removal of dissolved iron, mechanical suspensions and impurities from water takes place in pressure filter columns.

Iron removal and demanganation processes are processes that lead to the fact that iron and / or manganese dissolved in water, due to the catalytic action of Aqua-Mandix, transforms into an insoluble form and precipitates.

During the operation of the system, the combined filter material accumulates impurities. To wash the filter material from contamination and restore its properties, automatic or manual flushing with water is periodically carried out.

Flushing includes two stages:
  • backwash / backwash,
  • fast rinse (rapid rinse).

The flushing water is discharged into the sewer during the flushing process. After the completion of the flushing, the system is transferred to the operating mode (filtration mode).

Basic requirements for the quality of source water:
  • lack of microbiological contamination;
  • maximum concentration of iron (Fe) - 3 mg / l;
  • maximum concentration of manganese (Mn) - 0.3 mg / l;
  • the maximum concentration of residual chlorine is 0.5 mg / l;
  • pH - more than 7.0;
  • treated water temperature - up to 38 ° С;
